As founder of ALFA Systems Integrators, Fernández holds strong computer programming
and management skills developed during eleven years with both mini and microcomputer
systems in a manufacturing, consulting, and banking environment, enabling him to
understand business problems, apply solutions, and provide training. He was formerly part
of the Chase Manhattan Bank’s Information Systems Department, as Systems Development
Manager, in charge of all of the Local and Wide Area Network office and banking
applications. Other experiences include working at DRC Corporation, as Software Support
Manager and Instructor.
He is a Novell Certified Netware Engineer (CNE), Certified Novell Instructor
(CNI), Microsoft Certified System Engineer, and a
Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). Has designed and implemented more than 20 Local
Area Networks using Novell Netware (3.x, 4.x and 5.x) and Windows NT 4.0.
